TUNAWASHUKURU SANA – Mange tak!
Asedeva extends heartfelt gratitude to Utamaduni Camp in Denmark for their generous support in renovating our dance theatre floor.
This contribution means so much to us, and we are deeply grateful—TUNAWASHUKURU SANA!
We hope this marks the beginning of a strong and lasting partnership between our two organizations. We warmly welcome all members of Utamaduni to rehearse at our space, visit us in Dar es Salaam, and immerse themselves in the vibrant arts and cultural scene here.
You’ll also have the chance to witness ASEDEVA’s daily dedication to preserving and promoting Tanzanian arts and culture.
The picture is from a workshop about working creatively with african songs and rhythms.
The stage is used weekly by dance groups and for events.
Please visit our Instagram at asedeva_tanzania for more pictures about our work.

Financial report
We received 1,946,316 TZS / 5330 DKK to renovate the stage at ASEDEVA.
Due to changing currencies this was a little bit below budget but was enough for us to finish the renovation well.
We needed more cement than expected and transport were more expensive
than first anticipated.
We spended around 1.7 million TZS on materials and used the remaining (529 DKK) for fundi/workers.
ASEDEVA paid the remaining 374 DKK for workers.
